The Playboy slot game is a machine is a brave but interesting game taken on and created by the team at Microgaming. This got released back in July 2013, so it certainly isn’t one of their more recent creations.
There is nothing fancy about the graphics of this game in terms of the background to the reels, but the machine is very easy to navigate which is a positive. You can play Playboy on all desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
Gameplay
While keeping something of a professional outlook to this review, I don’t think the game needs too much of an introduction in terms of the theme. It is very much based on the Hugh Hefner designed magazine and one for the men. In that regard it was probably only a matter of time before someone turned it into a slot game! Playboy has five reels and 243 paylines in all.
There is a slight difference in the look of the lower paying icons in the Playboy game. Although they are still the typical playing cards they come with poker chips around them. The higher paying symbols include a car, a motorbike, a couple on a yacht and four Playboy beauties in Kimi, Ashley, Jillian and Sofia. The Playboy logo is the Wild symbol in this slot and the Playboy magazine is the Scatter icon.
Bonus Feature
There is a lot to the Playboy game but that doesn’t come in the number of features that there are. That is because there is only one and it is the Playboy Club game. Three or more of the Playboy magazine Scatter symbols are required to launch the feature. You then get to choose from one of the bonuses which is attached to a different girl.
If you pick Kimi you will receive 10 free spins which come with a 5x multiplier. If Sofia is the girl you like you will receive 15 free spins as well as running wilds with one extra Wild per reel for each spin. If you select Ashley then you will get 20 free spins and rolling reels will be in play. Should you pick up consecutive wins here the multiplier will increase. If Jillian is your girl then she will provide you with 25 free spins and the Wild night feature where up to five reels could randomly turn wild. The free spins can only be retriggered if you are playing the Kimi bonus.

There is plenty to like about the Playboy game. While the theme was a pretty obvious one in the end, it works really well and is quite an entertaining game to play. There is only one feature but there is a lot to it and it can deliver good rewards. The slot comes with a medium to high variance so it certainly isn’t for the faint hearted but if you like a game that will keep you entertained with a bit of risk attached to it this one might well be the one for you.
