Gameplay
These are the slot games where Microgaming really comes into their own. This slot is based on the 1991 movie Terminator 2 which had Arnold Schwarzenegger in it, where of course unlike the original film in that series his job was to protect John Connor instead of kill him. That is all included in this game. Terminator 2 has five reels with a massive 243 paylines in total.
There is a mix of the movie characters and the playing card icons among the symbols in use in this game. The playing card icons represent the lower value ones while the five main characters – Arnie himself, the original T-800 and the new T-1000 terminators as well as John and Sarah Connor. The Wild symbol is the fiery T2 logo while a glowing blue symbol makes up the Scatter.
Bonus Feature
Terminator 2 comes with a couple of bonus games. The first one, which is really important for a slot game, is the Free Spins feature. You are looking for three, four or five Scatters to hit the reels at any point in the one spin. This will immediately reward you with 10 free spins. An extra row gets added to the reels during these spins taking the number of ways to win up to 1,024 instead of the usual 243. These spins cannot be retriggered by the T-1000 character changes into the other character so you can get the highest win possible in this game.
The other feature is the T-800 Vision one. This is a base game bonus and comes along randomly within it. The screen will change red and you will see a target make its way around the reels.
