Vegas Strip Blackjack

If you’re a fan of Microgaming, we’d guess that you’ve played at least one of their many variations of the classic game, blackjack. But have you played Vegas Strip Blackjack?

With its mass of player options, realistic casino atmosphere and fantastic graphics, this game is unlikely to disappoint.

Gameplay

Vegas Strip Blackjack is played using four decks of the traditional 52 playing cards, and a “random shuffle” is conducted after each round. The point of the game is identical to practically all different versions of blackjack – to beat the dealer with a set of cards that amount to 21 or under whilst still being higher than the total of the dealer’s cards.

However, in this game, the dealer can check his hole card if they show a ten-value card or an Ace. The player can take “insurance, “half the original stake if it’s an ace.

Splitting is still allowed, and you can do this up to three times, giving you four hands to play with. You can also double down. We like this, as many variations of blackjack seem to abandon this feature, but it is something that can be very useful to players.

Vegas Strip Blackjack has an RTP of 99.65%, which is extremely impressive and means that your chances of losing a lot of money are minimal. If you’re a good player and have a little luck on your side, there is also the opportunity to make some big wins.

Features

Most of us know the basic blackjack rules to the point where it can become tiresome. However, Vegas Strip Blackjack may be relatively unfamiliar to most players, with an impressive amount of customisation from Microgaming.

You can choose “Autoplay”, which means aspects of the game will be out of your control, and you can also use strategy charts if you’re looking to play more seriously. You can choose from various speeds, ranging from slow to medium, fast, and fastest, so you can increase the challenge when you get more comfortable playing. This new version of blackjack is exciting and different and will keep even the more traditional players entertained.

Strategies

We’ve already mentioned the strategy card – but what is it? In short, it’s a tactical plan showing you the optimum move, depending on the cards in your hand. If you’re a beginner, this is ideal, and there’s no harm in playing with the strategy card until you get to grips with the game. However, bear in mind that it can never eliminate the house edge, so you might still lose a hand despite doing what the card says.

CasinoNZ Verdict

Vegas Strip Blackjack does well at creating an authentic casino atmosphere that all blackjack lovers will enjoy. This version’s few different rules and features give the game a refreshing edge while still being easy to understand, which is also appropriate for beginners. With its low house edge and high RTP, it’s not hard to see why this game immediately became one of Microgaming’s more popular choices. Why not head to Casino NZ and try it out for yourself?
