Rise of Olympus is a little like a grid slot; only players must line up three to five symbols in lines, rather than clusters, to win. Lines can be formed either vertically or horizontally, and the same symbol can be used in different winning combos. The slot also features cascading reels, which means that when wins form, those symbols disappear, and new ones fall into place. It means multiple wins can land on one spin. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades are the highest paying standard symbols in the game, paying out up to 10x the bet for five in a line. Other crest symbols payout up to 2x or 3x the stake for five symbols.
Special features
Special features in Rise of Olympus are all related to the three Gods. The Hand of God feature can be triggered randomly on any spin and differ depending on which God is currently active. Zeus will destroy two sets of any symbol, while Hades transforms one set of symbols into another, and Poseidon will make up to two Wilds appear on the reels. There’s also a Wrath of Olympus charger, which slowly fills up as players land winning combinations of God symbols. Once the symbol is complete, the Gods will take their turn performing their Hand of God feature to boost the winning opportunities on the reels significantly. Finally, players can unlock one of three Free Spins rounds by completely clearing the grid. Players will unlock between four and eight free spins alongside a chosen Hand of God feature and other bonuses during the round.
