Game Background
Eyecon is an Australian developer famous for its large and varied collection of games, with a title in just about every genre.
Like most other Eyecon games, Lost Island is basic, bright and sunny but with great potential for winnings. Its graphics and design don’t stand up well against the most modern titles from other developers, but you won’t care about that when your bank account is swelling with cash!
The game itself is pretty simple, presented on a five by five layout granting 25 paylines, with bets that range from 0.25 credits up to 12.50 credits. That’s not a massive range of bets, but this is one of the few games where you can win serious money during the base game without relying on bonus rounds.
There aren’t any filler symbols here, and each is represented by an island feature or animal, from palm trees and beaches to monkeys and parrots. These last two are the highest paying and can net you an impressive 950 coins when you land 5. Combine these with the wild symbol, a volcano, and your payout is doubled. Land five volcanoes, and you can max out your winnings at a great 9,500 coins, which could be a considerable sum depending on how much you bet.
Feature Bonuses
The bonus round is particularly bare-bones but rewarding in keeping with the game’s basic design philosophy. The scatter symbol is a dancing tribal mask, and netting three of these will kick off the bonus game and grant you a multiplier equal to the number of masks. If you get five masks, that multiplier can be 450x.
You get 15 free spins in this round, and your winnings are automatically doubled, but because you can re-trigger the free spins at any time during the game by finding more masks, you can have as many as 240 free spins if you’re lucky. That’s a lot of multipliers to keep track of, but the bottom line is that you can max out at a whopping 750x your original stake in multipliers alone if you play your cards right.
